I Heart Github Actions
Since I’ve been stuck inside lately due to the wildfire smoke, I’ve spent the free time of my last four days porting my site to Yet Another web publishing tool. This time, it’s Hugo. The thing I did right this time was getting CI/CD setup from the start. This was handily enabled by the fact that everyone with a github account (even free tier) gets at least 2000 minutes of Github Actions run time. I’ve done 39 pushes over the last four days to the website repo. I’ve also done some changes to my DNS configuration, which is also setup for CI/CD.
Perhaps with this setup, I won’t fail to post here for 7 years again. Meh, we’ll see.
